The Government of the Czech Republic started a national program called Quality Support Czech Quality in 2002. The program aims to create a unified system to promote visible and trusted Czech brand names, businesses and products.

This year we received the honor and of taking the prestigious award at the Cable product line with the brand name PRAFlaDur, PRAFlaSafe, PRAFlaGuard and PRAFlaCom for the second time. These cables are produced according to special requirements of legislation and PRAKAB was the first producer of these cables in the market. The cables have already found theirs place in construction of the Prague ring road, the tunnel Klimkovice and by other major structures in the Czech Republic.

The award is evidence of very high quality PRAKAB products.

Chief executive Mr. Jaromir Schmid accepted the award early November 2010 during a gala "An Evening with the Czech Quality" at the National House of Vinohrady.
